What can we do to prevent Jetlag

If your trip is well planned and organized then you know when you are flying and have enough time to research on the destination. Start doing some changes to your day to today schedule. Such as going to bed bit early or late than normal time.

* Start having water from the minute you arrive at the airport and in the flight as well. Do not worry about the number of times you have to disturb the passenger seated next to you to go to the loo. If you really concern then book a seat near the washrooms or request an aisle seat.

*Get some exercise after the flight took off get up and walk around the plane. Do this time to time throughout the flight.

*Frequent meals since it’s a long-haul flight you will get plenty of meals from the airline but still pack box of snacks to much time to time. Do not eat salty chips but get some fruits, vegetables. Rather than eating big meals have small meals every two hours time.

*Adjust to the landing destination time. Change the time on your wristwatch or your phone and sleep or do some activity accordingly . This will mentally prepare you for the time change. Doesn’t matter how tired you feel after the flight, go out and enjoy. If its day time when you land do not stay in your hotel room. At least find a nice place to sit and stay outdoor.

During your flight try to avoid alcohol, coffee, sleeping aids and salty food.If you want to know why you have to avoid these, read our blog post “NEVER DO THESE IN AN AIRPLANE
